Term used to glaze over swirls/scratches. When looking for someone to “buff” a car, people
assume they’re going to be removing scratches and imperfections from the paint. Although waxing (the
glaze) will temporarily hide some minor scratches, it won’t remove them and after 2 washes you’ll be
right back to where you started scratches and all. A polish is required to remove swirls/scratches.
